About Us
It's true, we have collected many awards for our photography from the Professional Photographers of America, and while we are very humbled by the acknowledgement by our peers, bragging isn't our strong suit. Instead of boring you with a laundry list of them, we want to tell you what we really are about.
2 of Woody's greatest passions in life have been teaching and photography. He was able to combine them both when he taught large format and electronic imaging at Hawkeye Community College. After the birth of our first child in 2005, we really took time to evaluate our lives and where they were going and we made the difficult decision to follow our hearts, put our family first, and develop a highly successful portrait studio in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Although we were very blessed with a flourishing business, we knew that in our hearts we would only be happy if we were truly doing what we loved. In 2009 after a series of life changing events, we focused on our love of teaching and pioneering new imaging concepts and developed Woody Walters Digital Photo Candy. It is a place to share, learn and become more with your photography. We thank you for following us on this wild ride and look forward to our future together.
We are a very small operation and do our best to respond to your requests promptly. Please know that we travel extensively and are gone a lot of the year. The best and most reliable way to communicate with us is through email.
